Our Story
In 2016, Josh and Caleb Etheridge found themselves working far from Northeast Louisiana, away from the place they call home. Eager to return to their roots, they made a bold decision: to start their own utility installation company, EPC, right in Northeast LA.
From the start, EPC stood out. While others in the industry struggled to maintain steady work, EPC experienced consistent growth. The secret? A commitment to safe, reliable service and a unique business model. Rather than relying on one large network operator, they diversified their customer base, pooling smaller jobs from multiple operators to keep their crews busy year-round.
This local-first approach quickly gained traction. Network operators no longer had to bundle jobs to lure contractors from out of town—they had a dependable solution right at home. Six years later, EPC continues to use this model, taking it further by offering formal training to build a skilled local workforce in every long-term market they serve. Recently, this approach has been recognized at both state and federal levels, with awards now favoring operators who prioritize local labor.
