PROJECT NAME
Comcast West Monroe to Bossier City Hwy 80 Interconnect
DETAILS
A 90-mile Aerial, Underground, blowing, and splicing fiber project to connect West Monroe LA to Bossier city LA. EPC directionally drilled 60 miles of 2” duct, placed over 300 hand holes, and blew and pulled over 400,000’ of Fiber. EPC also framed, strung, and lashed 30 miles of fiber. This project was different since the aerial and underground sections were intermittent, the fiber reels were 20,000’ in length, and there were predesignated splice points. We were able coordinate with aerial, underground, blowing, and splicing to get continuity from west Monroe to Shreveport without major delays. This customer also received an interactive KMZ redline map with sub foot GPS coordinates for the length of the project for their records.

Conterra Cell Tower Connectivity Project
DETAILS
EPC designed, Mapped, permitted, drilled, placed fiber, and spliced this 64 mile project connecting multiple tower sites to a new central location in downtown Monroe. This build included multiple railroad crossings, rural areas, very populated urban areas, concrete removals, and large Bayou crossings. EPC was able to work closely with DOT, local municipalities, and land owners to complete this project in less than 6 months safely and efficiently.

Sparklight Longview FTTH Multiphase Project
DETAILS
This Project was brought to EPC in a crunch. The previous contractor had not delivered as they promised and left the customer to finish it. EPC coordinated with the customer quickly to deploy over 185,000’ aerially, 22 miles of underground duct, pull over 300,000 of individual MSTs, and splice over 100 locations to complete this project in under 10 weeks (this time included the week it took to get one-calls in and have a pre-con meeting with the city) This project included Thousands of feet of tree trimming, concrete cutting, rear easements, and was done in the middle of the winter rain season. It was a pleasure to help our customer in a time of need and a great showcase of EPC’s scalability to get projects done.
