FEATURED PROJECTS ⇓
PROJECT NAME:
Minden Low Pressure Replacement Project
DETAILS:
EPC replaced over 40,000 of steel distribution pipe and 500 services in downtown Minden for CenterPoint Energy. To do this, EPC navigated through back alleys, under hard surfaces and in regularly congested locations to safely replace all steel pipe and services with new HDPE pipe and services, eventually retiring the existing system entirely.
PROJECT NAME:
Ruston Low Pressure Replacement Project
DETAILS:
EPC worked to safely place almost 20,000’ of HDPE pipe in Ruston, LA along with over 200 services to residences and commercial properties, even completing some work on the campus of Louisiana Tech itself. The placement of this pipe allowed for the retirement of an older low pressure steel system, which required special precautions to verify feed pressure in the adjacent work areas during tie-ins. CenterPoint Energy continues to count on EPC for its low-pressure retirement needs.
PROJECT NAME:
Homer Multiphase Replacement Project
DETAILS:
EPC placed approximately 52,000’ of HDPE pipe and 625 services to businesses and residences in the town of Homer, LA. During the project daylighting of existing utilities was crucial to ensuring safe placement of new natural gas lines while EPC also worked diligently with municipal representatives to mitigate disruptions to the public. EPC looks forward to continuing its work in Homer, LA installing a new, safe natural gas distribution system as we retire out older systems in the area.
